Electricity war
Suzanne Deffree - November 7, 2012
I’m a little bitter in writing this blog post. I’m at a Starbucks on Long Island, NY, after being dislocated by Hurricane Sandy, with the power to our neighborhood out for more than nine days now. And here I am, watching two guys mess around with an abundant 4 million volts of raw electricity in a seven minute video when I can't even turn the lights on in my living room.
The “Lords of Lightening” at the recent Bellfast Festival in nearby Queens, NY, took two Tesla coils and harnessed the volts “into a mystical flow of oscillating chaos,” according to their website.
Watch for yourself below as they two create a sort of electricity war. Their site says they “literally raise the hairs on the necks” of folks watching the spectacle in person.
