5 Engineers: Why is it that engineers haven't taken over the world by now?
Suzanne Deffree - January 11, 2013
Welcome to our 5 Engineers section, part of this blog and our Fun Friday newsletter, where we toss out a question and invite our audience to respond with their wittiest answers. In October 2012, we asked readers of 5 Engineers what question they would like thrown out to the group for response.
As expected, we got some great ideas, including this week’s question from reader hobanhemi:
Why is it that engineers haven't taken over the world by now? Clearly we have the advantage in intellect. Does our stereotypical lack of social skills keep us from advancement?
Thanks, hobanhemi, for the question. It’s a puzzler.
Post your short answer to the question below, or share your own question here and we’ll consider it for future 5 Engineers posts.
Be sure to stay tuned to this blog for more 5 Engineers questions in the weeks to come.
