Finalist: Liebert NXL 250- to 400-kVA UPS (Emerson Network Power)

A new generation of three-phrase UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems, the Liebert NXL 250-400 kVA combines excellent dynamic performance with the ability to handle virtually any input condition while still providing computer grade output to critical loads. The UPS has superior handling of present and future leading power factor computer loads up to 0.95 without derating. Available in single and multi-module configurations, the UPS allows customers to add modules as necessary. The “pay as you grow” option helps minimize ownership cost throughout the life of the unit.

The UPS utilizes the latest generation insulated-gate bipolar transistors (IGBT) and digital signal processor (DPS) controls. These improvements enhance efficiency and reliability by providing the fastest possible power management while reducing component count. With high operating efficiency levels of up to 94 percent, the Liebert NXL meets government standards for data center energy use while helping customers rein in their energy costs. Additionally, color touch screen controls improve user interface, reduce risk of human error and enable a quick reaction to any problems, minimizing potential downtime.

Ideal for companies with IT facilities which require a flexible power infrastructure, the Liebert NXL features a space-saving design allowing the delivery of more power capacity in the same space as previous models of less power. The Liebert NXL is also well suited for large data centers that are often supported by blade servers and high-density racks that demand increased power protection.
