10/04/2008 - LTE protocol stack expert 4M Wireless has delivered its LTEST100 product to a global infrastructure vendor. The solution provides complete eNodeB protocol stack verification, measurement and fault analysis capabilities.
4M Wireless Ltd is the only company providing a complete LTE UE terminal protocol stack that is already being used in the industry. The 4M Wireless LTE terminal stack is part of the company’s LTEST product for the test market. It allows LTE eNodeB developers such as those developing LTE base station equipment or developing LTE handset testing products to carry out interoperability tests of all protocol layers compliant to the latest 3GPP LTE specifications. The LTE stack consists of MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC and NAS LTE protocol software. By using the 4M Wireless UE protocol stack solution for verification, LTE eNodeB developers are able to deliver fully tested products to their customers.
The LTEST100 solution consists of a Graphical User Interface, test tools and test features and a UE optimized 3GPP LTE compliant protocol stack. The software can achieve data rates in excess of 100Mbit/s downlink and 50Mbit/s uplink.
