Cree delivers 200 LPW LEDs
Carolyn Mathas - December 18, 2012
Cree’s XLamp MK-R-LEDs deliver up to 200 lumen-per-watt (at 1 W, 25°C) LEDs enabling 100+ LPW for high lumen applications. Available in EasyWhite color temperatures, the LEDs are claimed by Cree to provide the industry’s best color consistency for one-LED designs. For multiple LED designs, manufacturers can cut back on the number of LEDs used while maintaining output and quality—lowering system cost.
The MK-R LED features a 7mm x 7mm footprint with a 6mm optical source, delivering up to 1600 lumens at 15S, 85°C. Characterized at 85°C, the MK-R component is available in 2700K to 7000K color temperatures and offers minimum CRI options of 70, 80 and 90 at selected color temperatures. Samples are available and production quantities are available with standard lead times. Contact company for pricing.
