RF field-strength meter offers low noise floor

-May 05, 2013

The UBA 9290 battery-operated field-strength analyzer from AWT Global covers a frequency range from 100 kHz to 2.9 GHz with a sensitivity of –117 dBm to evaluate even weak RF signals.
The handheld analyzer also provides basic spectrum-analyzer functionality, which makes it suitable for both wireless field applications and laboratory tasks.

A built-in frequency counter with a separate input allows the UBA 9290 to measure frequencies from 9 MHz to 2.1 GHz. The analyzer has an N connector at the RF input and a BNC connector at the frequency-counter input. Other features include a TFT color display; attenuator settings of 10, 20, 30, and 35 dB; bar-graph and spectrum-analyzer display modes; sweep mode (free run, single run, and squelch run); and memory storage for up to 100 waveforms and measurement settings.
