UV-A LED panel flood lamps for NDT inspection

-May 14, 2013

The PowerMax 365 Series UV-A LED flood lamps can be installed overhead or in-line and connected for wide-area coverage. Each lamp features a panel of 16 UV-A (365nm) LEDs engineered for non-destructive testing applications. There are four models to choose from.

High-intensity and standard-intensity versions are available with or without black light filter. Two high-intensity lamps produce a nominal steady-state UV-A intensity of 8,000 μW/cm2 at 15 inches and two standard-intensity models with a UV-A intensity of 4,500 μW/cm2 maximum. All four feature a coverage area of 15” x 6” and a minimum UV-A intensity of 2,000 μW/cm2.

Applications include NDT inspection booths, fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle inspection, screening of fluorescent particles and wash station inspection. Lamps meet ASTM UV-A intensity and wavelength specs for FPI and MPI.
