32-bit ADC achieves 0.5 ppm INL
The no-latency output is inherently matched to the digitally filtered output, avoiding the mismatch and drift that typically occur in applications requiring an additional faster ADC to monitor signal integrity in parallel with a precision ADC. A wide input common-mode range of 0 to VREF (2.5 V to 5.1 V) and high CMRR of 128 dB enable the LTC2500-32 to interface signals with varying common mode, simplifying analog signal-conditioning requirements.
An integrated configurable digital filter furnishes seven filter types and 13 different downsampling factors, offering the flexibility to trade off bandwidth, filter response, and noise performance for each application. The device can be used for precision measurements in such applications as industrial automation, automatic test equipment, seismology, and energy exploration.
Housed in a 24-lead, 7×4-mm DFN package, the LTC2500-32 is available for operation over the commercial and industrial temperature ranges. Prices start at $35.95 each in lots of 1000 units.
