IR thermometer works unattended

-May 24, 2017

With its auto-capture function and up to 30 hours of battery life, the Fluke 64 MAX IR thermometer records up to 99 data points unattended to capture elusive temperature events. The compact, handheld thermometer can even be mounted on a standard tripod using a mounting accessory.

The Fluke 64 MAX has a temperature range of -30°C to +600°C and a response time of less than 500 ms (95% of reading). Outfitted with a precise laser, the unit provides temperature measurements that are accurate to within ±1°C or ±1% of reading, whichever is greater, with a 20:1 distance-to-spot ratio (calculated at 90% energy). The Fluke 64 MAX displays minimum, maximum, and average temperature or the difference between two measurements.

The instrument features high and low alarms for rapid display of measurements outside set limits, while a built-in flashlight and large backlit LCD permit easy viewing, even in dark settings. Although small and lightweight, the Fluke 64 MAX can survive a 3 meter drop and continue to operate, especially useful for industrial and field use. An IP54 rating gives the thermometer added protection against airborne contaminants in harsh, dirty environments.

The Fluke 64 MAX IR thermometer has a list price of $199.
