Eurodisplay 2009 will kick off on September 14 with a one-day workshop featuring seminars on a variety of topics critical to display manufacturing and commercialization, from efforts to make displays more environmentally friendly to new display materials and other trends, as well as updates on a multitude of display technologies—including liquid crystal displays (LCDs), as well as plasma, flexible and 3-D displays. Presenting organizations include many of the industry’s leading manufacturers and academic institutions dedicated to the innovation of displays. Following the workshop will be a three-day symposium that will run from September 15-17 and feature keynote and plenary speakers from leading authorities on display technology.
