Artisan Crafts Up Year

Physical IP player Artisan Components saw revenues climb for both its fiscal Q4 and total fiscal year, the company has announced.
Artisan posted total revenue of $25.1 million for its fiscal Q4 with $15.6 million of that from license revenue and $9.5 million fro net royalty revenue.That compares to revenue of $19.5 million in Q4 of last year, comprised of $16.5 million in license revenue and $3.0 million in net royalty revenue.
Net income came in at $4.5 million or 18 cents per diluted share, compared to net income of $2.5 million or 10 cents per diluted share for the same period a year ago. On a pro forma basis, net income for Q4 was $6.1 million or 24 cents per diluted share compared with pro forma net income for last year's Q4 of $2.7 million or 11 cents per diluted share.
Artisan posted net income of $19.2 million or 77 cents per diluted share for the year, an increase of 162 percent over the previous year. On a pro forma basis, net income was $17.4 million or 69 cents per diluted share, an increase of 112 percent compared with the previous year's pro forma net income.
