Chopper amplifier features a 150-dB gain

The CS3003 chopper amplifier has 10-µV-maximum offset voltage with 0.05 µA/°C drift. The part operates from 2.7 to 5V and has a 150-dB voltage gain. Features include a 17-nV/Hz noise flat beyond 0.08 Hz, a 1.5-pF input capacitance, a 1-MHz bandwidth, and a 0.25V/µsec slew rate. A 150-kHz chopper frequency makes it easy to filter out, even with a single-pole filter. This amplifier features rail-to-rail inputs and outputs. It swings to 10 µV of the rails with a 200-kΩ load. Available in SOIC-8 and leadless QFN packages, the device suits measurements of slow-moving inputs, such as gas detectors, load cells, and thermopile signals. The CS3003 costs 99 cents (1000).
