Linking policy

EDN's official policy for incoming links is: The more the merrier! We very much appreciate you sending people our way, so please feel free to link to anything on this site. No permission or notification is required (although we're happy to hear from you). If you do link, please apply the hyperlink to the article headline whenever possible, and feel free to use the article abstract (usually found right under the headline) or the first paragraph of text in order to entice people to click.

However, you may not REPRODUCE an article, a blog post, a PDF file, or anything else in its entirety from EDN. If you wish to reproduce EDN content in full, you must work with our reprints department, which can explain the features and costs of the various options that exist, including both printed reprints and a PDF-based option for posting on your own Web site.
