Archived article copy service
This site offers free access to EDN archives
dating back to 1994. In addition, EDN possesses a physical archive that
stretches back to the first issue in 1956. If you are interested in an
article dated prior to 1994, we can deliver it to you, but we charge a
fee of US$20 for the service. We will scan the article and deliver it to you
either via mail or, if you are in a hurry, PDF format (because we are scanning hardbound books that are in some cases quite
thick, we cannot guarantee perfect quality, but we make every effort to ensure
that even fine details are legible. Here's a sample

archives.
Instructions
- Contact us first! Send an email to edn.editor@reedbusiness.com with as much information as you have about the article (headline, publication date and page number, author name). We will try to locate the article and get back to you. Why is this the first step? Because many indexes and article references found on the Web contain inaccurate information. We don't want you to pay until we're sure we can deliver the article you want.
- After we confirm that we have found the article, click the button below, which will take you to a page where you can use a credit card to pay the $20 fee. After placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation. That's all you have to do. We will get a copy of the same email confirmation, and we'll take care of the rest.
