Each December since 1999, EDN's editors have compiled and published a list of the industry's best and most significant electronic products—spanning everything from components to software tools to peripherals to test instruments. Culled from the countless product announcements our editors evaluate each year, the EDN Hot 100 represents a prestigious annual snapshot of innovation in the tech industry. How does this work? How do I nominate my company's products?

Each year, EDN's editors select the Hot 100 products from among products they covered during the year, both in the print pages of EDN and on this site. Therefore, there is no nomination process for the Hot 100. If one of our editors reports on your product, and if he or she thinks your product is one of the best and brightest of the year, it has a good chance of making the cut.
