Please review the rules below and follow the nomination procedure in order to enter your product or an individual/team in the awards program. (For more information about these awards, go to the Innovation home page.)
Eligibility Rules
Only products that were released between January 1, 2009, and December 31, 2009, are eligible. We will, of course, honor embargo dates for any product nominated on or prior to December 9—the nomination deadline—but slated for launch later in the month. From all nominations received, our editors will select the finalists, which we will feature online and in our February 18, 2010, issue. Readers will be asked to visit our Web site for more information about each product and individual/team and to cast their votes for the Innovation of the Year and Innovator of the Year award winners. We will select the winner in each category and the Innovator of the Year from a combination of reader votes and editorial staff votes.
Nomination Fee
For each product/service or individual/team that you nominate for an EDN Innovation award, the nomination fee is $325.
Nomination Procedure
- Pay the nomination fee using our secure online payment form. You must pay a separate fee for each product, individual, or team that you intend to nominate. For each nomination fee that you submit, you will immediately receive an e-mail that includes a unique order number. The order number will be needed to complete the remaining steps of the nomination procedure.
- Download the Nomination Form and the Nomination Essay Form:
- Open the Nomination Form document and fill in the required fields, including the order number.
- Save the Nomination Form document using the file name specified in the Nomination Form.
- Open the Nomination Essay Form document and follow the instructions provided.
- Save the Nomination Essay Form document using the file name specified in the Nomination Essay Form.
- Send the Nomination Form and Nomination Essay Form documents and any supporting materials to us through e-mail at edninnovation@reedbusiness.com. Please be sure to include a URL to a high-resolution photo as requested on the Nomination Form.
- Repeat steps 1 through 7 for additional entries.
