H-Square introduces the first 450mm wafer handling vacuum wand at Semicon Japan. The battery powered portable vacuum wand (Freedom WandTM) is Class 1 (ISO-3) cleanroom compatible and has ample vacuum pressure to assure safe handling of 450mm wafers. Portability makes Freedom Wands ideal for virtual fabs and pilot lines. The vacuum tip is designed to maximize holding while minimizing contact to back of wafer. Also being introduced are new 450mm mock wafers. These wafers are durable, nonbreakable replacements for costly silicon wafers. Mock wafers can be used to calibrate equipment/robots, for demonstrations, and wafer handling training.
