Mueta announces 300W Class D high performance Audio Amplifier Module

Wijk en Aalburg, The Netherlands, December 2008 – Mueta BV – an innovator in the design and development of semiconductors and solutions for audio applications – has announced a new Class D power amplifier module, the MM701, to enable reduced development times for high performance audiophile products. The MM701 is a self contained, single channel unit capable of driving 300W into 4 ohms at 0.5% THD+N whilst only requiring rail voltage supplies. Production of the MM701 will commence in Q1 2009.
The MM701 is based on Mueta’s world-class, high performance modulator/controller IC (MU201S) in an easy to use, ready-to-go 300W amplifier module with the same excellent specifications. It is cost effective and will enable fast development of end products without the expense of developing a custom design or layout. This module can also be used to quickly evaluate this exceptional audio amplifier technology in a cost-effective manner.
