New AC/DC Modules Feature EN60950-1 and EN60601-1 Safety Approvals

Mornsun augments their low cost, encapsulated AC/DC module family with the LD03 and LD05 Series’ of switching power supplies.

With universal inputs of 85~260VAC or 110~370VDC and a low profile PCB mountable encapsulated package, the UL60950-1 approved LD03 Series is ideally suited for a wide variety of applications including test and measurement equipment, industrial control devices, communications applications and consumer electronic products. Input to output isolation of 4000VDC and EN60601-1 safety approvals on the LD05 Series, make it an excellent choice for patient vicinity medical device designs.

Single output voltages range from 3.3VDC to 24VDC and are tightly regulated to ±1%. Units boast low ripple and noise of 30mV p-p and efficiency is specified as high as 78%. Comprehensive protection circuitry includes short circuit, over temperature, and output over voltage protection.

The LD Series power converters use high quality, 100% RoHS compliant materials and are manufactured to Mornsun’s rigorous, ISO-9001 quality control program to ensure high product reliability.
