The reference designs incorporate Texas Instruments' DaVinci technology. They incorporate the analog front end for CCD signal processing. Both photo-flash and white LED circuits are provided. The power-conscious MSP430 microcontroller is mated to audio, voice, and TSC+audio CODECs. Also provided are video op-amps used in the signal chain. Power-management functions include battery charging and fuel gauges, boost and buck converters, as well as authentication of battery packs and LCD drive power.
