Multi Service MSPP Reference Platform

MSPP and microMSPP Reference Platform supports Ethernet over SONET/SDH and PDH over SONET/SDH with 2xGE, 8xFE/E, SPI-3 for packet processing, 28/21 xDS1/E1, 3 xDS3/E3 and Telecom Bus.

* Compact, single board implementation of a complete access device, demonstrating solutions for a wide variety of common design requirements
* Includes external interfaces for:
o 155 Mbps / 622 Mbps Optical interfaces or 2.5 Gbps Optical interfaces
o 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet interfaces
o DS1/E1 interfaces
o DS3/E3 interfaces
* Includes connectors for:
o 3 x STS-1/VC-3 or 1 x STS-3c/VC-4 Telecom Bus
o 8-bit or 32-bit SPI-3 packet bus
o External clocking and synchronization inputs
o 8260 COP debug port
* Optionally available mezzanine card to interface to the SPI-3 packet bus
* Delivered with complete software suite implementing typical access device functionality for all external interfaces including:
o Configuration management
o Fault management
o Performance management
* Allows measurement of complete system performance for both hardware and software-driven functions
* Suitable for use as a software development platform
* Consulting services available to assist in building and executing evaluation tests
