Cirrus Logic develops high-precision analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for a broad range of consumer and industrial markets. Building on its diverse analog and signal-processing patent portfolio, Cirrus Logic delivers highly optimized products for consumer and commercial audio, automotive entertainment, industrial and aerospace applications. In 2007, Cirrus Logic acquired Apex Microtechnology and Apex Precision Power was launched as the new brand name for the company’s high-performance power analog product offerings. The Apex Precision Power product brand delivers off-the-shelf, single package solutions based on three analog technologies: power operational amplifiers (linear), PWM amplifiers (switching) and motor controllers. These devices are executed in monolithic IC, hybrid and board-level module product designs that deliver output power up to 50 A, and operate on voltage supplies up to 1200 V.
