Vote: 6 STEM programs that matter

-March 06, 2014

We need some crowdsourcing help. As part of  EDN's and EE Times' annual ACE Awards for excellence in electronics design, we want you to vote on the winner for the STEM Impact Award.

This award celebrates an individual or company that demonstrates a commitment to engaging young people and inspiring them to become science and technology leaders. Nominations were limited to companies and employees of companies in the electronics industry. The Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA) will present the award during the ACE Awards ceremony Tuesday, April 1, at San Jose's Fairmont Hotel during the EE Live! conference.

There are six finalists, listed below in alphabetical order. Look through the six pages, and then vote for your favorite in the EE Times poll here by Monday, March 17. You may vote for only one entrant. The pages display text and images submitted by finalists (although not all of them submitted images). We only applied minor edits and formatting to the text.

We're sure you'll agree all these companies are winners (as are all the companies that participate in STEM programs every year).

The ACE Awards will be presented at EE Live! 2014, which is managed by UBM Tech, EDN's parent company. All Access passes and Engineering Summits passes for the event are still available at discounted advance pricing. Follow updates about EE Live! programs and sessions on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+ and register for the March 31-April 3, San Jose-based event here.
