Digitizer/DSP analyzes RF and serial signals

The ADP 7000 series consists of two four-channel models with 50 Ω input impedance that differ in sample rate and bandwidth (see table below). You can use these digitizers for capturing and analyzing wireless signals in the sub-10 GHz range, which covers everything through the H-band (today's cellular networks operate below 6 GHz). Future 5G networks will likely start at frequencies below 6 GHz so the ADP7000 can analyze those signals as they come online.Once 5G moves into mmWave frequencies, you can combine the ADP7000 with a downconverter to digitize IF signals.
The Guzik ADP7104 can sample at rates up to 32 Gsamples/s when using two of its four channels.
Simply digitizing signals isn't enough. That's where Guzik's DP7000 signal-processing module comes in. Its four Intel ARRIA 10 FPGAs provide on-module data analysis. The modules are available with numerous signal-processing firmware options. These include channel equalization, filtering, multi-segment time-tagged acquisition, real-time digital down conversion (DDC), Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT), waveform min/max, and real-time waveform averaging for smoothing noisy signals. Other options include segmented memory, a circular acquisition buffer, and digital filtering & decimation, and protocol decode (I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, USB, PCIe, SATA and others). For time-domain signal analysis, you can use Keysight's EZJIT and EZJIT Plus software.
In addition to using on-module signal processing, you can use Keysight's 89600 Vector Signal Analyzer (VSA) software and 81199A Wideband Waveform Analyzer Studio. Through the Keysight software, you can perform modulation and vector-signal analysis analysis for ODFM, LTE, LTE-Advanced 802.11 Wi-Fi, Radar, and other signals. The modules also come with Guzik's GSA Toolkit, wich provides an interchangeable Virtual Instrument (IVI) driver, a software-development kit, and Signal Display application for getting the system running.
The ADP7000 series let you perform signal analysis in real time or you can stream digitized signal to external storage. They can stream data to the AXIe chassis at rates up to 6.4 GBytes/s through its PCIe x8 Gen 3 link. For real-time signal analysis on a host computer, the ADP7000s can stream data over optical links at speeds up to 640 Gbps. You can increase data rates and channel count by cascading multiple modules together.
For automated test applications, you can combine the ADP7000 module with Keysight's M8190A waveform generator, which as 12 or 14-bit resolution as bandwidths of 12 Gsamples/s or 8 Gsamples/s, respectively. That lets you generate known signal and analyze how your device-under-test responds.
Combine the ADP7000 with the Keysight M8190A waveform generator to form a complete test system.
In addition to having four analog inputs, the ADP7000 has four gate inputs so you can trigger the instrument from external signals. Four test outputs (one per channel) provide digital signals based on test results. There's also a clock sync input and output.
Prices start at $100,000. Deliveries are expected in early 2018.
