Waveguide attenuators cover seven bands

-December 27, 2016

Pasternack’s waveguide direct-read attenuators operate in seven waveguide bands within a frequency range of 18 GHz to 110 GHz. These devices can be used for instrumentation, test bench, high-efficiency RF/microwave transmission, satellite communication, military communication, radar, and telecommunication applications.

The continuously variable attenuators’ direct-read capability allows users to dial-in the amount of attenuation required, accurate to within ±2% over most of the attenuation range. Available in standard waveguide sizes, including WR-10, WR-12, WR-15, WR-19, WR-22, WR-28, and WR-42, the components feature an easy-to-read drum scale and military standard UG-style flanges. Their minimum attenuation range is 0 dB to 50 dB with insertion loss of 0.5 dB to 1 dB, depending on the frequency range.
