LED produces over 2500 lumens

-December 29, 2016

Cree’s XLamp XHP50.2 LED delivers up to 7% more lumens and 10% higher LPW (lumens per watt) than the first-generation XHP50 LED in the same 5×5-mm package. The XHP50.2 provides more than 2500 lumens from its 6-mm light-emitting surface, helping to reduce the size and cost of new designs in applications ranging from spot to street lighting.

Based on the company’s EasyWhite technology for accurate color consistency, the XHP50.2 LED comes in color temperatures ranging from 2700K to 6500K with high CRI (color rendering index) options. In addition to light output and efficacy enhancements, the XHP50.2 provides improved optical uniformity through secondary optics.

LM-80 data for the XHP50.2 LED is available immediately, reducing the time required to receive ENERGY STAR and DesignLights Consortium qualifications. Product samples and production quantities of the LED are available with standard lead times.
