  • What about EMI performance? While openings in the front panel are good for thermal management, don't those openings also affect EMI? There was a time when such openings were small relative to signal wavelength, but not anymore. EMI engineers will tell you that any opening larger than 1/4 wavelength will let EMI emissions pass through. With today's high-speed signals, openings can be more than a full wavelength.

  • LED headlights are harsh on the eyes if you're the oncoming driver. Also, so many vehicles are higher than they used to be, putting headings even more in oncoming drivers' eyes.

  • Who is EDN?
  • Fabio, The current iteration of EDN, which has been in place for several years, has only the comment structure that you see. Previous iterations may have had the ability to sort by time or thread, but I don't recall. I would like to have the ability to add graphics to comments.
